Heissler Guillent: la mayoría del equipo viene con ritmo competitivo
Heissler Guillent, uno de los referentes más importantes de la selección nacional de Venezuela, habló en exclusiva y dio sus impresiones sobre la segunda ventana FIBA. Los criollos enfrentarán a Argentina y Paraguay este viernes y sábado, respectivamente.
“El equipo está listo para competir”, aseguró el base que se coronó campeón de la Copa Superliga con Guaiqueríes de Margarita.
Guillent sabe que Venezuela tiene una plantilla que puede hacer frente al poderoso equipo argentino. “La mayoría de los jugadores del equipo vienen con muy buen ritmo de juego. Vienen de competir durante todo este año, excepto un pequeño grupo de nosotros incluyéndome que no hemos tenido competencia durante este 2022. Aunque hemos estado trabajando mucho en los entrenamientos”.
“Sentimos que estamos listos para poder competir. Vamos a salir a aportar nuestro grano de arena para el equipo en los siguientes partidos que tenemos”, dijo Heissler.
El base venezolano y uno de los capitanes del equipo está claro en lo que se debe hacer para mantener el invicto en las ventanas clasificatorias. “Siento que el trabajo se va a seguir basando en tener bastante intensidad defensiva, hemos trabajando duro en eso. Tener electricidad defensiva, presionar mucho la pelota y en ofensiva tratar de correr la cancha y tomar los mejores tiros posible”.
Heissler aseguró que tienen mucha confianza y se encuentran con mucho positivismo del trabajo que puede realizar como equipo para acercarse dar un paso importante de cara a la segunda ronda del clasificatorio.
