Ramírez llegó a Estados Unidos en 2018, para jugar NJCAA con [su_highlight]Panola College de Texas[/su_highlight], en esa institución estuvo un par de años, compartiendo en el último con su compatriota Odeth Betancourt.
Por su parte, en la temporada 2019-2020 Kellymar promedió con Panola; 8.7 puntos, 6.9 rebotes y 0.7 asistencias, en 27 partidos. Nuueve de ellos saliendo en el quinteto inicial.
Además, [su_highlight]Ramírez[/su_highlight] convirtió 2 de 4 triples (50 %), en dobles acertó 102 de 165 (62 %) y en tiros libres 24 de 35 (69 %).
La alero de 22 años, hija del [su_highlight]ex jugador profesional Kervis Ramírez[/su_highlight], llega ahora a [su_highlight]New York Tech[/su_highlight], universidad que culminó en la tercera posición de la [su_highlight]East Coast Conference de la NCAA D-2[/su_highlight], con marca de 12-4.
La temporada 2020-2021 de la East Coast Conference ya no arrancaría este año debido a la pandemia mundial por la [su_highlight]COVID-19[/su_highlight], la conferencia tiene como fecha estimada de arranque el mes de enero de 2021.
