Venezuela conoce su destino en los Sudamericanos U18
La Federación Internacional de Baloncesto (FIBA) realizó el sorteo del Sudamericano U18, donde Venezuela encabezará el Grupo “B” en el femenino (Estadio Obras, Argentina), mientras que el masculino hará lo propio en el Grupo “A” (Parque Miranda).

- Pioneros paró a Piratas en La Guaira
El equipo dirigido por Eduardo Pinto, tendrá la misión de buscar los primeros puestos ante sus similares de Colombia, Chile y Uruguay. Se tiene previsto que los entrenamientos del femenino inicien el 21 hasta el 30 del corriente mes en el Poliedrito con la lista ya conformada, según reveló un boletín de prensa de la FVB.
Seguidamente, el Grupo “A” del femenil lo integran: Argentina, Brasil, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay. El Campeonato Sudamericano U18 femenino se llevará a cabo del 04 al 09 de abril en el Estadio Obras Sanitarias, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Masculino quedó en el Grupo “B”
La rama masculina se ubicó en el Grupo “B”, junto a Ecuador, Chile, Argentina. El equipo que dirige Ronald Guillén entrena a doble turno des del 15 de febrero en el Centro de Alto Rendimiento del Baloncesto Poliedrito.
El Grupo “A” quedó conformado por Colombia, Brasil, Bolivia, Uruguay. El Campeonato Sudamericano U18 masculino se llevará a cabo del 21 al 26 de marzo en el Gimnasio José Joaquín Papá Carrillo de Parque Miranda.
